Thought I would "wind you folk up" with 2 serious questions
Question 1
Is it in the best long term interest of CFR shareholders to have their holding diluted by the addition of a further 78493683 shares (an additional 11.5% shares to sevice with dividends in the future ) ?
Question 2
Does CFR really need the funds?
In the past the answer to Q 2 was of course YES as they had virtually no other source of income, but with what is hopefully about to happen, ~$3 mill is not a lot of money,so the answer is probably NO.
I know directors & some hot copperites have options & of course from that point of view will want them to be in the money on 31st Dec.( The probability of this is almost a certainty anyway.)
Nonetheless the question remains:-
Is it in shareholders overall best interests to dilute the existing capital.
My answer is........... NO......
Let the debate begin.
