I'd doubt whether using 100% renewables would do anything except bleed your pockets dry.
It definitively won't raise or lower the sea levels like these climate change socialists think.
You have to wonder the lack of brain matter these climate socialists have between the ears.
The climate has changed on earth forever and will change over and over again forever.

In Florida once thriving coral reefs are now 25 metres above sea level.
In the 1900's the coral was quarried and the blocks were some 2 .5 metres thick.

" Sea level has been as much as 25 feet higher and 300 feet lower than the present. Approximately 120,000 year ago, sea level dropped close to its present level exposing the coral and allowing for the formation of the islands of the Florida Keys. When the area of the Keys is submerged, this limestone provides the necessary substrate for new growth of the coral formations and coral reefs. Subsequently, the Key Largo limestone is quite thick, as much as 145 feet in some areas of the Upper Keys."

Maybe a new tax will keep the sea levels stagnant for the few 100,000 years, maybe lots of electric cars will stop the sea level from rising or falling.
A new tax will definitely not stop the weather from getting hotter or colder.
What these climate change socialists really want is to transfer the worlds wealth from the hard workers and doers to the freeholders of the society.
