No, but it would make everyone poorer because the cost of electric would skyrocket, this would not only effect household bills but businesses would also have to pass on the costs or close down and go overseas and if they want to subsidise it then they would have to tax us more aswell which would also make us have less money in our pockets and businesses would also have to pass on those costs through repricing of the goods they make and sell.
