    Richards34,

Sorry I am late in my reply, but I have enjoyed this wonderful weather sailing, socialising and drinking.

Now to your question. Yes, most definitely; Thor has all the ground that our little geo team worked on to test ,and first found uranium in this region in 1966. We flew over it to check radiation levels and we trenched over a big area, until our client ceased to fund us, and moved his effort to Queensland.

Now to assist several other posters before I have dinner: By tomorrow the first hole will have been drilled and all the air core drill cuttings will have been arranged sequentially in a line. Logging for radiation emission levels will be underway now as I type on the cuttings and down hole. Now usually the level of radiation gives an indication of the level of uranium content; this can be detremined very quickly. However, the samples still need to be assayed in a lab, and this will require about 2 months at present rates of progress.

I must state that there are several other minerals that will give off radiation, and the geo in charge will be carefully examining the cuttings to ensure that they contain U3O8 rather tha the other minerals. I shall go into this at more depth when I have cleared my mind of salt water and good wine. Good luck for tomorrow, Conix
