Gentlemen,
I have no idea when and if a superpit will come to fruition at tindals or elsewhere for FML.Those and many other answers are with FML management and geologists,i have no doubt and what turns up at depth as we head down.
I suspect the mount will become a very profitable highgrade ore source, with real depth.$13m of development says to me management think so too.
i am well aware of the old pits nearby to tindals, who keep talking of removing a ribwall and enlarging an old pit to get deeper and then prattle on about superpits in the area and all the potential in their area, when all their pits are joined together.
Given the historical geology of the area at depth and FML's reluctance to start drilling there before the ores just below their pit bottom, where is talk of underground operations there from some pit bottoms,i cannot help but start extrapolating things,or thinking what if?
I know this way of operation is very much part of the FML way and vey cost effective, but always have suspected, there is more to it.The mount after all was left until it was affordable to mine with trial mining,a trialing of highgrading the resource, obviously.
The mounts only been tentatively drilled at points i believe around 150mtrs.I have read comments, again from memory, open at depth beyond 200mtrs.
Given rising grades as pits go deeper, your guess is as good as mine, but when there's only in some cases 200mtrs between resource at the surface, who knows what geology lies beneath and whether,we are starting where dragon backs break the surface along a line of strike.
yes,as CW has said, many sources of ore handled by 3MH mill and a great credit to FML in installing their gekko and Falcon circuit when commissioning the mill, giving such great yields.2MT crushing circuit, with relatively cheap options for expansion,we hear,if it's warranted.
Time will tell,i quess within 6 months,if it's warranted if they have more ore than the mill can handle ongoing.
I have no answers, but do enjoy the fact one of those pits was at 80?mtrs last time we saw a picture.Plus i seem to remember FML talking cutbacks there as well.I rely very much on my memory, for spurious detail,so plse always DYOR+DYODD
DYOR+DYODD CW will probably be the better person to get a feel for what management are willing to let us know.
