Unlike the MMX thread when MMX came out and made the "looking forward to successful ourcome" statement.
With a CHM win both CHM and funder will get back all the securities they have lodged so CHM gets another inflow of funds.
I am sure the funder would have factored an appeal into this.
However lets look at MMX position.
Port and rail project is ramping up with key commitments made to govt about timeframes. This requires capital from the two owners which MMX will have to find.
IO stage 2 requires ramping up and again this requires capital. While appeal drags on I couldnt see any payment from Mitsubishi in relation to IO assets.
How does MMX deal with a long drawn out appeal in terms of meeting its capital obligations that the second half of Mitsubishi payment was to meet ?
