Just an add on.....It is very important.
In every portfolio there is bound to be the green & the red....The winners & the losers.
If you find that your portfolio is getting "greener" & outperforming the market, rest assured that you are doing the right thing.
If,on the other hand, you portfolio is getting "less green" or "more red" & underperforming the market , find out the culprits & dispose of them.
Many fall in the trap of selling their winners to show a profit & keep the "unrealized" losses to mount.....This is a sure way to bankruptcy.
Do the right thing & profits will take care of itself.
