I have not seen any signs that there has been any work done on clean coal burning, I fail to see that in this age we can't produce a low emmission coal burning furnace
Allthough wind and solar farms are useful in desolate areas which have no other alternative, they are not efficient enough to cater for large cities.
Certainly in Australia companies are not encouraged to develop any other forms of energy production unless the government pays them, as in solar and wind. I can't blame them while they have that easy option which the governemnt provides and further, while the government has this policy how are we going to get anything better. We can be the smart country but it needs intelligent direction from the top, when has that happened. Tide and gas generation do not seem to enter the equation
