"When I was younger I criticised the church because I thought its views on sex, contraception and abortion were wrong. I thought I was wiser. This was my excuse not to go to mass on Sundays. I now concede I was wrong, the church was right and I was silly to think I was wiser."

The church was right? We can see the result of the Catholic 'religious morals' re contraception. Five million dead Africans and counting. I note the Pope has recently changed his thinking on this. Well I would suggest that it's five million dead people too late. Try and understand the animosoty that may come from atheists. It can be tough to sit on the sidelines and watch five million people die in the name of 'religious morality'. I think religious morals are equally perverted when it comes to sex and abortion.

Religious people make it quite clear that they put their God first and their fellow man second. To me a dangerous separation from humanity that we see the results of nightly in the news.
