Lindfield this is an area that I also struggle with is getting out of trades to early.

I am tweaking my stops and trailing stops.
Haven't used this as yet as I don't have any trades but this is the system that Michael S Jenkins uses and having looked over alot of charts I think it has merit.

He uses a 3 bar trailing stop when in the trade. If he then sees what looks like a reversal bar he will raise his stop to the low (or just Below) the low of the previous bar before the reversal bar..............jeez thats a mouthfull hope it made sense

I know Totterdell uses a 3.25 bar trailing stop also.

I am going to experiment with this but I do like getting a trade to breakeven as quick as possible.
