question for rod - re thorium

Hi Rod.

Thanks for making yourself available to HC.

My question is:

You say that thorium is 4 times as prevalent as uranium at Kvanefeldt.
At present thorium cannot be used to produce electricity.
However I understand that the Indians are keenly working on it and one of Australia's Federal Ministers said on TV a few weeks ago that the Indians are buying up thorium deposits around Australia.
If GGG gets the go-ahead to mine REE and U at Kvanjefeldt will the thorium be pumped out to waste - or will it be able to be stockpiled awaiting new technology to find a use for it?
