would it be feasible that an APG plant be physically attached the oil extraction plant to use up the by-product, or would the variations of the concentrations of the ilmentite be too geographically wide (or unknown) to make it feasible as a general proposition.

Or are the deposits although wide, significant enough to do it anyway.

the reason I ask is because of your comment

"they may as well upgrade what would otherwise be a waste stream if possible."

(Emphasis on "if possible")

And what triggered that was Humms' comment

"I think for each barrel of oil they generate 2 ? tonne of mineral rich sand........for APG to process."

Not that I would have any knowledge but logically a joint venture would seem a realistic possiblity, rather than an improbability.

for others to say what effect that realistic possibility would have on the SP
