It is generated early in the piece from historic rise/fall rations, periodic rally/retrace profiles, liquidity, basic rise/fall predictions, with reference to both point and percentage weightings...and finally daily and weekly VWAP hot-spot weightings.
Based on an assortment of interpretations, I extract a node "template" on which previous behaviour is tested.
I have noticed these comments before in regard to his charting and I always have a little chuckle to myself and keep my fingers off the keyboard but in light of your thesis I should point out that it is just the use of a graphics package. Abobe illustrator and Adobe photoshop most likely.
The candlestick chart has been layered over the top of the homemade gridwork in the background. The gridwork itself has been adjusted to suit the chart.
There is no software package. It is a work of some effort though. Some points to look at.
The text comments, node values, lines etc. have all been added manually.
The grid pattern in the background is not exact as it would be if generated by computer software. Check the intersecting lines.
Some nodes have number some don't.
Some nodes with number are outside the charting area.
Latest chart shows different font characteristics for the top node.
Bottom node has a 2 which is not correct.
The most obvious manipulation is where the chart has been compressed to fit the background pattern. Some daily candlesticks are actually underneath each other.
So just to show that it can be done I put together my own chart this morning. I admit it needs a bit more tweeking but hey the fundamentals are there.
