yes, Norton 360 requires a lot of memory resources. You will find that the start up of your computer will take longer too.
I used Norton 360 last year but discarded it later because it was using up too much of my puter resources, even though I have a lot of RAM and have a pretty power puter. Am now using a slimmer version of Norton.
