There is a poster here called Angers who I recall is very knowledgeable in the ways of oil and held our collective hands during the Hardman days when we were all stumbling about asking the same questions, especially when the stock kept getting sold off on, to us, impenetrable announcements.

He produced a small book that i still have called "Understanding Oil Exploration and the Drilling Process" which I discover I still have tucked away on my puter. It is too big to post here, so maybe ask Angers for it to be reissued or I can send to you via email.

At the time Hotcopper also put out a series of educational newsletters which I don't seem to have kept. Maybe they can dig them out of the arichives??
