Vietnam is a mess, they are going commercial and capitalistic which is not part of their natural persona.
There are many corrupt parties in vietnamese political factions where Vietnam is undermined by constant relgious, racial and political turmoil that has been under the eye of the human rights bill for the past 30 or so years.
Externally Vietnam is basically a nice country to the eye with friendly people, however, capitalism is not Vietnam's thing - it is destructive to them as they're being forced to be westerners. Look at Japan, 40 years after going capitalistic, Japan's economy is now an absolute mess. They will all return to their natural roots.
