i think why Jim Rogers is going with sugar, is that he is looking for a commodity that is in current over supply ie sugar. ie the next season will not be so good, with land being used for other crops (i note that ARJ has been buying up cane farms and renting them out to teak growers). India has that oversupply and is storing. apologies to JR if i have got it wrong
