    Wait a second.

I thought this was a discussion forum. Why have you all just shut this down?

This isn't a normal circumstance so it is completely normal for someone to ask why a CEO has suddenly left the company. The CEO is a key position and a sudden departure can signal wider issues at the company. This is our investment, we are all here because we want to make money.

Should we not discuss the impacts of a CEO change on the stock price? Should we not discuss what we expect from the company and the new CEO now that there has been this sudden change? should we not be discussing what the potential outcomes there are for us??????

I for one have a few scenarios in mind for what may have transpired.
    1. Company direction: Glenn disagreed with the direction of the company with the board.
    2. Personal performance related : The drilling program for mine left didn't hit the promised mark (whatever the promise was)
    3. There is a plan for the company to be sold off to a major. (kinda part of 1)
    4. Next growth phase that this new CEO is more suited to. IE they aren't in 'turn around' anymore, they are in 'grow bigger'
    5. They want to start acquiring new assets or diversify, Glenn's skillset doesn't match the need.
    6. what else?

Do we have any other information to go from? Has there been any communication with the new leadership that can give context to the changes?

    -Alex.
