the Union Jack represents 224 years of oppressive for the native people's of Australia

the burn the Union Jack is justified

we really need to ask ourselves: "What harm have the Aboriginal people done to us?"

the honest answer is basically "none"

we have no cause to burn the beautiful Aboriginal flag, where black represents the Aboriginal people of Australia, red represents the red earth, the red ochre and a spiritual relation to the land and yellow represents the Sun, the giver of life and protector

where as the Union Jack is comprised of:

    The red St. George's Cross
The white diagonal St. Andrew's Cross
The red diagonal St. Patrick's Cross

these English symbols are alient to Australia

like Canada, a similar ex-English expoitation colony, Australia should definitely create its own flag

    regards
