yep thats what i was thinking
when the Median goes up it means the higher house prices are selling. It doesnt tell if you house prices have gone up or not.
for example property prices could be the same, the number of First home buyers could drop by 1/3 like it has meaning less lower end property being bought, and the median then finish's with a increase from the lack of bottem end selling.
and RE post into the media everyones house has gone up.
