    Depends on how good a bargain it is.Sounds like you are on the back foot to begin with. If you want it and it is a good buy may be worth eating the humble pie and see what happens. If you get it at the desired price well done. Once contract is signed give the agent the appropriate serve.

    Typical arrogance on agents part . Usually when it is in demand they treat you like this especially if not much commission in it for them. I don't let their lack of courtesy put me off and he may be looking after a friends interest and you are a nuisance. Want it - go for it as long as you are not tempted to raise offer. If needs be do a search and contact the owner direct. Make his life uncomfortable. Totally unprofessional but don't let that throw you.
