Correct.
It was a long time ago.
We didn't drill to TD with 12.5 in bits, I think they were 6.5 in or 8.5 in and in a hole with TD of say 6000-8000 ft we cased to 5000ft approx to stabilise the hole.
I was surprised that they drilled to TD with 12.5 in. I am probably out of date with current technology.
