I think that their statement that no comment would be made on hydrocarbon shows until completion of wireline logging
gets them off the hook on reporting gas kicks or fluorescence. (using the same reasoning that resulted in CDU delisting recently)
Many operating companies world-wide run tight hole policies where no information is released until some analysis is completed.
I do fancy that a dry hole would have been reported immediately because that does not contravene the policy.
