Shorts do not lose. If it gets delisted they have no need to buy back the shares, so they make 100%. The only cost will be loan fee for the short shares they borrowed.
Shorts won this game!
Always irked me why management were not buyers of OPT stock, they only accepted free options. To me, internally they were not as confident as we were on the outside.
