Your argument fails by assuming marginalised aboriginals represent the majority of aboriginals when in fact the majority are largely assimilated and doing fine.

Those who don't feel part of the system are a minor cohort, some 135k by my estimation, of marginalised aboriginals living in remote and dysfunctional communities. It is they who contribute heavily to the Gap statistics.

The aggrieved aboriginals are the noisy, well-paid aboriginal activists who use the marginalised to exploit the Gap to entrench their power and privilege in the constitution. They have done nothing for the marginalised, all the while feathering their own nests within the over-funded aboriginal industry.
