Buy into the company that is being taken over.
Two recent examples, Lionore and Consolidated minerals, they both had rival bidders which drove the price right up trying to outbid eachother.
Even if there aren't two bidders, the price generally rises higher with the expectation of a rival bid, a la Jubilee which sat well above Xstratas offer for a long time because people were expecting another Lionore type scenario.
