Could someone please answer the following question in layman terms so I can get a basic grasp of potential outcomes.
Is a takeover good or bad?
What happens (in our scenario - being SDL holders) what happens if a company comes in and does a takeover.
Do we get a vote? Do we come out better, i mean do they offer us some beautiful high price for our shares or do we just cop what the deal is?
I hear the odd talk about fending off takeovers but I am in the dark as to the ramifications of a takeover (in our instance being SDL)
I only hold SDL, subsequently that is why I am posting to you SDL gurus as I read your posts daily, even though most of it goes right over my head at present.
