I really don't understand how come the non-holders can spend this much time on HC on a stock? What's their purpose? do they really hold anything in the stock market? If they do, why don't they focus their attention on those stocks? If they don't, what fascinates them to spend their precious time discussing a company so much insignificant to them? I know that answer would be "This is a discussion forum that anybody may participate if they wish too" but how the hell is this rational?

Is it not possible that a 4th reason would be non-holders wishing to invest in the company would be doing some homework/research on the stock before entering ie: raising questions and concerns (not blatant down ramping)?
