pilko, it's almost 2 years since APEL was first mentioned here on HC and almost 12 months since NTPEP was.

AASHTO have a facility called APEL (AASHTO Approved Product Evaluation List) which enables member states to list their new products. Other member states are able to access the evaluation and test results etc of the new product listed. They can then use that information to make the product available in their state or tailor a more streamlined evaluation process to suit the state (climate etc). This facility could be pretty useful.
