"Everything in nature seeks the shortest path."
So then why is the Earth not closer, or for that matter further away from the sun? After all we are like the coke bottle spinning spinning spinning & as yet the Earth has not fallen over at least in my lifetime.
Incidentally how much does the Earth weigh?
