The Barrup legal battle is due to be heard in late August but a settelement may occur before this. Tap Oil says that in the worst case scenario a maximum of $25 million damages would be paid, and would probably be considerably less, with payments spread between the end of gas supply from Harriet and 2030.
Progression of the 24mmbbl Manora field development in Thailand towards booking reserves and a final investment decision could be another near term catayst for this stock.
