Curiousity got the better of me...

I looked up 4 (totally)random companies...thier announcements went like this.

ONE: (17 Days)
31 Jan - Expected Spud mid Feb
17 Feb - Actual Spud

Two: (13 Days)
22 Dec - Expected Spud Early Jan
04 Jan - Actual Spud

Three: (27 Days)
21 Dec - Expected Spud Mid Jan
17 Jan - Actual Spud

Four:(13 Days)
03 May - Expected Spud Mid May
16 May - Actual Spud.

Average time from expected announcement to actual = 18 days

I know theres many things to also organise before this, but I wanted to understand the whole picture. I can see a place for this information. (for timing of individual options, whatever they may be)
This we can work out to a basic understanding level, the rest, well thats up to GDN (AWT) and the Ukrainian Authorities amongst others.
I do not purport to have this knowledge, as I guess its variable taking into account a huge manner of circumstances. (for any driller, anywhere)

June 30 Spud Guess = Confirmation news on or about 12 June
June 15 Spud Guess = Confirmation news on or about 29 May
June 01 Spud Guess = Confirmation news on or about 14 May

Date today = 29 March

Days between 29 March and dates above x3 = 45/60/75.
Share Trading Days = 28 (for 14th May) (Deducted Easter x 2 & ANZAC Days)

GDN has 45/60/75 days to get the ducks lined up.
And potential buyers/sellers have 4/6/9 weeks to get themselves sorted out.

So looing at that...and assuming June is all good, Ill be going for end of June as best guess.

Sort of looking forward to seeing how AWT manages this operation, start to finish. I guess they have their good reputation riding on this as well.
