I think the market is more discerning now, thank goodness. There were a lot of companies plating nearology, ... lets all go to West Africa...its the place to be seen, ...but having seen first hand some of the companies there, a lot have moose pasture, they do not know how to do business in Africa (even some who say they have been there for a long time), just been embarassing really. So when the crunch comes the "mooses" get sorted out, and so the real companies with real management, right skills, feet on the ground,goo local relationships...they keep going....its always the way.
As for the money side, do not kid yourself. There is a lot of money looking for good projects. If it a good project , with good managment there will not be an issue at all..its always the way.
This time will be no different...
