The most recent data that I can find, demonstrates that around 85% of Australians live within 50km's of the coast.
Recent data also suggests that Australia's population will increase by approximately 1.2 million people within the next 3 years.
Based on the figures above, we can therefore expect another 1 million people crammed into the 50km-of-the-coast zone within 3 years.
Unless this trend is changing? Is anyone aware of any recent, credible and authoritative research that demonstrates this trend is changing?
