Everything changes. That's the intrinsic nature of the universe.
With that said, however, millions of Australians will retire over the next 5-10 years and I do not, therefore, believe that unemployment will be a major problem over the medium to long term.
So I do, alternatively, see continuing high rates of immigration-which will flow through to continuing high rates of population growth-as the only solution to addressing the skills shortage that will result from the Baby Boomers retiring.
