re: trading question? lots of answers Analyser - this may or may not prove to be one of those TOX alerting posts but you may like to run you eye over DDT. I have only 'dipped the toe' as I am not quite convinced but the answer to the speeding ticket given by the ASX may prove important soon.

It looks to me like it is legal inside information with more details to be given - I am still investigating but it is worth watching at the very least. A very senior contact of mine at the CSIRO is not aware of this particular deal but has dealt with DDT on 2 other matters and he sas they are at least a cut above the average management he deals with - that may say more about everyone else they deal with though!

"The second reason relates to DataTraceDNA Pty Ltd, which, as announced on August 8, is to operate as a company owned jointly by DDT and the CSIRO to market DataTraceDNA, a new marker of bulk products and materials. DataTraceDNA Pty Ltd has recently concluded a distribution agreement for its product in China, which agreement will operate from the time that one-half of the company is formally transferred from DDT to the CSIRO. The consideration of this distribution agreement is $10 million, of which $500,000 has been received as a first installment. Execution of the transfer documents transferring one-half of the company from DDT to the CSIRO is expected to occur in the next week, as soon as the parties’ legal advisers inform the parties that the documents are complete. The company plans to announce the full details of the distribution agreement at that time."

Personally I cannot believe that they have not already announced this deal as they have already received 500k as a first installment but it's their call.
