Be the mice and let management keep on spending the cashpile, or liquidate and receive $2 cash for each share? I doubt the shorters can hold on with that strategy.
I don't think anything of management, cash now in hand is irresistible. If management disagrees and argues unrealised asset valuation. Then management should set up another company and openly bid for the assets, and Karoon shareholders can realise the "management perceived value" today instead of in x number of years.
Nepotism runs deep in this company, let me jolt some memories. Remember that share buy back? It ended prematurely without explanation really, how many Hoskins do you see working for the company? So far I am sitting on my arse because I only took a small stake today, might refine my idea further over the weekend. Do you want a sure thing or do you want a really long shot?
