There will be other offers entertained for sure....If there are 2 that have made formal bids..you can be sure there are plenty of others that are eyeing up the assets and waiting for their time to pounce.
Clever money always buys when the market is depressed such as in the US right now...
I would imagine management have done the rounds of all the large shareholders and canvassed their opinions on offers and preferred exit prices.
They will probably now take a little time sitting down with possible interested parties and hatch a plan to extract the best offer from all the parties..
This is about to get interesting and the market is just waking upto it!
