So NZO stands to gain $168mil from selling its Kupe asset, and aims to return $100mill to shareholders, leaving it with substantial cash as a "springboard into new investment opportunities".
NZO do not have a record of making prudent investments (other than Tui and Kupe; ages ago). Where would they invest now? All I can see is making another offer for CUE, given that their other minority stake in PPP is even more unfortunate. Hopefully CUE SP will react to this news and prevent them from making too low an offer.
