You can't tell people that truth though, lest they panic. 'Give them hope' is the new mantra.
You can't tell them that last year the experts were saying 'the vaccines would be good for the virus morphing over the next 7 years' but now, the experts are quietly suggesting these vaccines (that don't even work) won't offer any increased immunity for more than 4 years because covid is morphing so quickly.
