Rupert yes it can be done. With Comsec if you have a portfolio of $50,000 shares for example they will let you buy up to $100,000 worth against them. They take the $50,000 as a deposit. In my experience as I have done it they will let me buy twice what my portfolio is. So $50,000 of stock with them lets me buy another $100,000 of stock. But if I keep it beyond two days I have to pay even if I can't afford it. So be very careful mate. Now what's the big tip?
