Andrew Michelmore & Owen Hegarty have openly stated that they closely concur on an acquisition shortlist.
For obvious reasons they are not disclosing their lists but have indicated that any such move would either be high quality in copper / zinc / gold /silver or enable diversification [as with nickel at Avebury] - iron ore maybe?
Some have speculated re a takeover by XStrata which is already the world's largest zinc miner. IMHO I think there is a greater chance of an alliance with FMG_CAZ.
