1) No, once the entitlement is complete and the date which the shares are issued Comsec will automatically update your portfolio.
2) If you apply for additional shares you just add on the additional payment required to your entitlement amount.
Depending on shortfall will depend if you get 100% or part of the requested extra shares. If not all are accepted you’ll be refunded the difference. whether that is by cheque or electronic transfer will depend if the share registry the BTH is apart of has your bank accout details.
