questions about gold trend

    Hi I am new to financial market and still learning. Here is my questions and hope you can help.
    1. How Dow Jone index related to Gold price? It seem like GOLD Price is following the trend with Dow Jone according to the chart but against USD.
    2. What is the view of the next correction, if Dow Jone Index fall, will people buy in USD and will GOLD Price follow the Dow Jone Index drop?

    I am a bit confuse.
