The ongoing costs of the suggested structures (company's, family trusts etc), may offset any benefit you were trying to avail yourself. If you're talking large numbers, maybe those structures will be beneficial.
As mentioned by someone else, your 'status' as recognised by the lovely people at the ATO, also makes these other structures a goer or not.
