Not barking up any tree.....are not referring to the recent CTP Equity raising...I was just commenting on an article in the AFR that day...that involved ASX listed company - Select Harvest - that has launched capital raising despite having some sort of T/O offer being made in late September by an Arab entity.... ( And the retail component is a SPP..)..
My point is that, if CTP had raised capital in Feb/March 2017 ( and being allowed to do so by the listing rules/Corporations law ) - then existing shareholder would hv been much better off..as it would not have been at say 15/16 cents cents rather than the low ball heavily dilutive 10 cents per share...And if it was in fact illegal or against corporations law to do so, that should hv been communicated.
