Regardless of the rights or wrongs or motives of rgc, there remains the question of how Biotron is going to meet the challenge of the competition from Gilead and possibly others. A strategy needs to be formulated by the company on the HCV development and marketing even at this early stage.

Whilst BIT225 may not have missed the boat as indicated by rgc but refuted by Giddy, the questions put remain to be answered in order to give investors in this company just a little bit of confidence.

Whilst they may not be able to make all details public it is important to have a general picture of how they are going to go about bringing value to shareholders from their developments.

There has been talk of pursuing partnering arrangements for a very long time now but nothing concrete has eventuated. Personally, I don't see that a small company like Biotron will easily succeed unless it takes on a big rich partner. The sooner the better as the rest of the world is moving along - faster than us - and it is so easy to get left behind with nowhere to go.
