There is a reasonable arguement that policy & perhaps management has to change once a company morphs from explorer to producer.
Investment is all about making money and once a prospector transtiones from prospector to producer the market expects derisking. Such is so with IGR.
Exploration is a risky business and there is no guarantee
that a $14 mil exploration is going to produce more than
$14 mil extra shareholder valuedespite a company's track record.
At some stage profit has to be banked and returned to the shareholder so why not a little now rather than maybe
alot later! It would give the market confidence in the company and distinguish it from the hundreds of no-divvie
explorer/miners. Just look at the litany published weekly in the weekend Fin Review!
Cheers
