re: questions for hdr angers I agree with Hooter, the uncertainty in the market is to do with Chinguetti, and that is where more facts are needed.
Uganda is on track, in fact it has surprised to the upside. From what we have been told Guyane is being negotiated (still!). Suriname offshore - my guess is that we have got some blocks - August 2 was the date for the decision on the successful bidders, Sept 2 is the date for the finalisation of negotiations. If Hardman had not been awarded any blocks they would know that already and could tell you if you asked.
So what the market really needs is some more detail on the problems with Ching. Are there really concerns about the reserves, if so why? Have there been declines with the southern wells' output? If so, is it just that the flow rate is down or have they been getting significant water cuts? What exactly are the problems? More deatil is required, otherwise the market will suspect the worst.
