    Hi,
For a number of reasons I'm not in favour of taxing super, in pension phase, within the fund.
For a start , if as reported, the tax kicks in at 75k much smaller funds will be hit if they have a good year, or a large one off, capital gain ie income within the fund is "lumpy". Just encourages gaming within the fund.
If asked what this means, well, my fund would all of a sudden have lots of growth shares, tax deferred private property trusts, gold.
Why are they not taxing payments , which don't have the same problem?
Why no RBL if they really want to get concessions under control?
    good luck
Taxing payments less distorting of investment flows, and likely to produce more revenue eventually?
Nasty feeling you will find a mixture of ignorance and ideology.
